a bridge, built from embalming fluid bottles

Our first stop was a roadside attraction called The Glass House. It was a house and landscaping build by a retired mortician, out of 600,000 empty embalming fluid bottles. It has, to date, been our most expensive tourist trap, at $25 for the whole family. But it was kind of cool - it was built in the 50’s, and while the owner was alive, he gave tours himself and did magic tricks for the kids who visited.

Some more local handiwork, we spotted down the road
