The kids helping Robert with tummy time while they wait for breakfast. Joan doesn't usually take much interest in Rob. Not into babies at all, and insists she never wants to get married or have babies of her own, because "they're gross." I can dig it. Instead, she bounces between wanting to be a teacher, a fashion designer or a unicorn princess when she grows up.

pooped out baby, after tummy time. He's being socialized by a wide ranging bunch - some days he plays cars, other days ponies. Today, it appears to be monsters and ponies

To that point, a wonderful, relaxed Saturday Morning. Until we looked out the window and saw this. We have four pigs left, and they all got out, for the second time this week.

So, because our pigs have discovered that 1) they CAN get out and 2) it's FUN to get out, they are no longer staying put in their pen. So, instead of the day we'd had planned, we dropped everything and spent Saturday killing and butchering two of our pigs. We put the other two back in the pen, thinking maybe they've learned their lesson - if you escape, we'll string you to the rafters and cut you into little bits. But no. We came out Sunday morning to two pigs bounding through the yard. We were going to leave them be, but as we were getting ready for church, Mike saw them take off down the road. Ugh. So we're going to plow through the butchering of the two in the fridges as fast as we can, so we can get the others slaughtered.

Put this in - didn't print. The kids look great - they are getting so big! How about a family photo?
