Ok - trying something new. I think I've figured out how to post video to the kids' blog. Let me know how it works on your end! They were both tired, so it's not very exciting, and John must have been hot, because it was 21 degrees, but he insisted on wearing his jacket, boots and a hat. But if it works, and you guys like it, I'll do more!

Too neat for words, D-in-Law. I don't know where you find the time.

Doesn't seem to be working on my end, do you know if it's a Flash thing?
Oh Megan, that is just too cute. It worked well on my end. I wish we lived closer so we could see you guys more often, but this is the next best thing!
Adrian - did you try double clicking directly on the arrow? I couldn't get it to work at first because of that. The hand itself means nothing.
I don't think it's flash, but I'm not sure - it's an embedded YouTube video.
I cudn't make the picture appear, did all the things John said to do, still no picture. Beautiful day here. Changed the light in the downstairs b'room & the garbage man took the discard away, lucky me. Got a jolt while installing it as the new fuse box downstairs was marked wrong. Takes more than that to kill the old lady though. Always - Gram
YouTube streams all its video through a specially created Flash object. Macromedia introduced video streaming capabilities with Flash when the MX suite came out a few years ago, and since then FLV has become the de facto standard format for online video streaming. So in other words, basically you need the Flash player to watch video on YouTube. For some reason I can't install Flash here, this is one of the fuckups with Vista that they haven't fixed yet lol
